These are the latest fully certified and ready to go hybrid and 100% direct current systems in solar air conditioning. The AC-DC hybrid solar heat pump carries an ETL & Energy Star listing for the US and Canada. The DC48 100% solar heat pump carries a CE listing for the US and Canada. The ACDC12 runs primarily on solar power during the day, and at night runs on normal electrical power. This is not an off-grid system; it requires 220vac power to start and operate and gets most of its power from sunlight during the daytime.

The DC48 operates on 100% direct current from a battery bank. Solar, wind or grid power charges your battery bank and the batteries run the DC48.

They’re also solar heaters! Both solar heat pumps run fine on winter sunshine, at temperatures as low as 5F (-17c).



The DC4812VRF solar air conditioner connects to 4,6,8, or 10 solar panels for up to 24 hours per day cooling or heating operation. Solar panels not included. Batteries and charging systems sold separately or provided by customer.

The operation of the DC48 is 100% low voltage, direct current at 48vdc. A properly sized, 48vdc battery bank powers the high efficiency split and eliminates all power losses from conversion. The dependable DC48 is heat & corrosion hardened and all motors are hermetically sealed for efficient, long lasing operation.

It all starts with the same cutting edge varying frequency and 410a flow technology used in the best split air conditioners on the market today. This ensures that the DC48 always operates at the peak of efficiency depending on the current weather conditions. The programmable wireless remote makes custom operation easy and affords the user even greater power efficiencies.

The DC48 is designed primarily for off-grid applications. Golf cart type deep cycle batteries are charged by solar panels and or a wind turbine or, directly from the grid or a generator. 48-volt, direct current runs from the battery bank to the outdoor compressor & condenser cabinet and then the DC power is sent to the remote controlled, inside cooling/heating air handler.

The operation of the ACDC12 hybrid AC system is unique. It needs no batteries, no solar controller and no inverter. It runs on native, direct solar panel input (30-39v DC power) and 220, single phase AC power, using whatever DC power is available from the solar panels and automatically supplementing it with AC power from your alternate current electrical system. This unique design allows solar energy to provide major savings all day, and still run with extreme high efficiency (>19 SEER) at night without the need for expensive batteries.

It all starts with an extra-high-SEER DC Inverter air conditioner. A special design allows DC power from solar panels to directly connect to the system without any inverter or controller. This unit basically runs for free during the day, providing cooling for an area up to 600 f2 or to augment a larger air conditioning system. At night, stay cool for a low cost with SEER >19 cooling. When running on solar, it can operate above SEER 35 with only 2 standard solar panels.

The ACDC12 is not an off-grid system. It requires connection to 50hz or 60hz power can operate with single phase 220v or 208v 3-phase power and directly connects to 30-39 VDC solar panels up to 750 watts (20 amps) maximum.

Both split systems use ozone friendly 410a refrigerant, have the best energy saving & operation logic and are whisper quiet. These 100% solar electric systems easily install into new or remodel construction and qualify for many federal, state and local incentives. The mix of the best split air conditioning and solar technology combine to allow rapid ROI anywhere that kilowatt hour costs exceed $0.25/hour without incentives. Both systems may qualify for many federal, state and local incentives.

Cooling coverage depends on local weather, indoor heat sources and structure insulation factors. An average rule is 300-600 f2, (27.9-55.75 m2) of coverage up to 700 f2. Uses range from cooling equipment rooms, additions and offices to augmenting existing HVAC systems in homes, hotels and retail businesses.

 Solar Dome

 

The Solar Dome is a frame-less structure consisting of aerospace composite panels. It has the strength of a standard building but the mobility of a tent. One Dome can be assembled by two people in less than four hours with nothing more than a screwdriver, wrench and step ladder. 

 

When unassembled, the enclosure can fit into the back of a pickup truck, trailer or an 8'x8'x4' container and easily transported anywhere in the world. It can be repeatedly taken down and reassembled while retaining its structural integrity.
